Lady on Red!

Hello friends, a new oilpainting was finished this new year. I found a Vintage portrait of a nice Silent Movie Diva . It was photoraphed in black and white, but I wanted to give it color. Look what I have done. The painting has 20 x 20 cm.

So I startet.

Fire and Ice

Inspired by the song of Pat Banatar and the theme at Try it on Tuesday ( FIRE AND ICE) I made this page with water colors , alcohol and wax crayon. I added two golden elements made of wrinkled metal foil.

Snow Fairy's Visit!

Today a snow fairy visited us and brought a little bit of snow to us. Inspired by that I created a page
with water color background. I thought of broken and crackled ice. I added some big and small  cutout circles and my nice new rubber stamp with the fairy.
This new year I want to make more drawn and painted pages to train myself.

More Mixed Media!

This year I want to make a bit more Mixed Media experiments, so I created this page.
The surface texture is made with Gesso and a very fine mesh of vegetables. I coloured it with Gelatos.
The motive on the right side is made of a punched piece  metal wall of a beverage can. I coloured it
with inks. Further I used some stamps and punched pieces.
Thanks for stopping by and your every time welcome comments.
Greetings

Dutch Landscape

First of all I wish all of you a very Happy New Year 2018! May it be happy, healthy and creative for you all.

Now I show my newest oil painting. I tried a dutch landscape which we had often visited. I have added the geese  to it to give it a touch of vitality.

Apple blossoms and a bee!

In spring my hubby made a photo of our apple tree with its nice blossoms. I have chosen a part of the photo to make a small 20x20 cm painting.

It is witch time! / Hexenzeit!

This dark Lady I have found in a magazine and she inspired me to make a Halloween Tag.
I used for it a white correction pen, white embossing powder, some stamps and a feather.

Gypsy!

In my stuff I found this wonderful image which I had cutted out of a magazin. On the veil I embossed three golden ornaments  and glued a golden border around it. The background was made with acrylic paint. The  white ornaments I have stamped also with acrylic paint. Some butterfly stamps and some die cut flowers made it complete. Thank you for stopping here and your comments which I like so much.

Landscapes of the soul!

I made two pages with Gelli Plate, napkins motives, stencils and stamps.  I made the background  before I started my journey to Vienna and now after my return and full of inspiration I finished it.
