Lady on Red!

Hello friends, a new oilpainting was finished this new year. I found a Vintage portrait of a nice Silent Movie Diva . It was photoraphed in black and white, but I wanted to give it color. Look what I have done. The painting has 20 x 20 cm.

So I startet.

Fire and Ice

Inspired by the song of Pat Banatar and the theme at Try it on Tuesday ( FIRE AND ICE) I made this page with water colors , alcohol and wax crayon. I added two golden elements made of wrinkled metal foil.

Snow Fairy's Visit!

Today a snow fairy visited us and brought a little bit of snow to us. Inspired by that I created a page
with water color background. I thought of broken and crackled ice. I added some big and small  cutout circles and my nice new rubber stamp with the fairy.
This new year I want to make more drawn and painted pages to train myself.

More Mixed Media!

This year I want to make a bit more Mixed Media experiments, so I created this page.
The surface texture is made with Gesso and a very fine mesh of vegetables. I coloured it with Gelatos.
The motive on the right side is made of a punched piece  metal wall of a beverage can. I coloured it
with inks. Further I used some stamps and punched pieces.
Thanks for stopping by and your every time welcome comments.
Greetings

Dutch Landscape

First of all I wish all of you a very Happy New Year 2018! May it be happy, healthy and creative for you all.

Now I show my newest oil painting. I tried a dutch landscape which we had often visited. I have added the geese  to it to give it a touch of vitality.
