Lady on Red!
Hello friends, a new oilpainting was finished this new year. I found a Vintage portrait of a nice Silent Movie Diva . It was photoraphed in black and white, but I wanted to give it color. Look what I have done. The painting has 20 x 20 cm.

This is marvellous. I am very impressed how you have painted the details and the shading, and I really love the colours you have chosen. The red background is a great choice as a contrast to all the greens and the way you have painted the patterned fabrics is very clever.

Superklasse ist dieses Portrait in Farbe geworden! Es ist bestimmt gar nicht so einfach von b&w auf Farbe zu übertragen, aber es ist dir großartig gelungen!
Ich sehe, dass du die Leinwand ganz ungrundiert bemalst... oder täusche ich mich...
